color of emblem: white; five katakana Su in Mt.Fuji shape representing the city was formed by five villages.

The five katakana su form a star with circle in the middle. Each point of the star forms the shape of Mt Fuji. The emblem shows the 5 former villages tightly bonded, prospering in harmony (represented by the central circle).
