The blue triangle of earthenware symbolic of Cheju stands as a symbol for pier Mt. Halla and the Earth, while the white triangle for the Heaven. The circle of the while triangle symbolizes the Sun, and the three wave patterns in the circle are symbolic of Cheju's Samda (three abundance: women, winds and stones) and Sammu (three non-existence: baggers, thieves and gates).
