The arms are diagonally divided in two fields, black
and gold. On the first appears a golden sword and key
in form of a saltire. The colours are those of the
nobility of Schellenberg to
whom Mauren once belonged. The sword and key symbolise
the right of patronage on the parish. The arms of Mauren
were adopted on 8 February, 1958.
