Zurrieq is in process to change its flag — perhaps the process is already ended but I don't have news.

All the coats-of-arms and flags I have found for Zurrieq show the same basic image, white over blue with a Greek cross counterchanged:

• Pascal Gross' Atlas Géographique Mondial website, with good images of Maltese local flags reported by Thomas Borg (a Maltese from Mellieha), shows this image
• Ralf Hartemink's International Civic Heraldry website reports no change in the Zurrieq arms, unlike with several other local councils
• Local Councils' Coats-of-arms at the Maltese Government Official Website
• Local Councils' Coats-of-arms at the SearchMalta.com website

At the risk of sounding ridiculous, I wonder what kind of relation might exist between Zurrieq in Malta and Zurich in Switzerland — white and blue flags for both, a Swiss cross on the Zurrieq flag...
