Description: "Right diagonally divided of white and red; in silver a
red acorn, thestem pointing downward; in red three golden pennies, placed
one and two".
The acorn is from the arms of the Hettinga family. The pennies refer
to the church's patron saint, Nicholas, and also to legal sessions held
here every tuesday.
