Angerlo CoA

[Angerlo CoA] image from the Angerlo municipal website.

The municipality was founded by the merger of a part of the old judiciary (richtersambt) of Doesburg, of which Angerlo village was part, and the bannerlordship (bannerheerlijkheid) of Bahr en Lathum. This is expressed in the arms: a divided shield, of which one half shows a crescent in a red field (the emblems of the old richtersambt Doesburg), the other consists of a red diagonal bar on a yellow field; the shield is covered by a golden crown with five leaves.
