Brummen municipality

Number of inhabitants: 21.610; area: 85,08 km². Settlements: Brummen (seat), Eerbeek, Empe, Hall, Leuvenheim, Oeken, Tonden, Voorstonden.
Brummen is some 30 km northeast of Arnhem.
The flag (adopted 21 Apr 1970) is derived from the municipal CoA. The twig in the lion's paw is for 'brummels', blackberries in the local dialect, which have undergone a (failed) heraldic operation.
