Mijdrecht former municipality

[Mijdrecht flag] by Jarig Bakker, 10 Jul 2003

Mijdrecht was until 1 Jan 1989 a municipality; it was then merged with Vinkeveen en Waverveen, and Wilnis, to form the new municipality of De Ronde Venen, with its seat in Mijdrecht.

Description of the old Mijdrecht flag:
Three stripes white - red - white, proportioned 1:4:1; in the center of the red stripe a turned Agnus Dei with cross-banner, all white and stepping on the white stripe; on the white cross of the Agnus Dei is a shortened red cross.
Instituted by the former municipal council on 17 May 1963.
I've used Ralf Hartemink's Mijdrecht CoA for this.
