Population (1 Jan 2003): 110.027; area: 119,36 km². Settlements: Zwolle Noord, Zwolle Oost, Zwolle Stad, Zwolle West, Zwolle Zuid.
Zwolle is in the capital of the province of capital Overijssel in the Netherlands. The flag I saw them use, was blue with a broad centred white cross. In [sie62] Sierksma 1962, the cross is narrower (proportions about 2:3). I think the flag is based on the arms (a white cross on blue).

According to [vxn] Vexilla Nostra no. 158 the flag of Zwolle was adopted 28 may 1962. The cross 3/30th of the flagheight. I don't know if that's correct because 1) why not say 1/10 instead of 3/30 and 2) the cross on the arms are broad.

In [sie62] Sierksma 1962 on page 146 you will find a historical flag of Zwolle with the colours inverted (so blue cross on white).
