The flag was designed by the student Armando Sosa Flores and
its background color is "blue flower", a kind of very
light blue.
Its simple symbology is as follows:
· Cemí (Indian idol) - represents the same object found at the
El Algodón Farm near the Turabo riverbank
· Indian hamlets - represents the "Yucayeque" or main
indian settlement that is believed existed in this place
