Publish on Diário do Governo (the official journal) on 15/08/1951 — Argent field, a cross pommely gules, in chief an açor bird sable, lined argent a carrying on its claw a quina. Argent 4 towers mural crown. White scroll with "LAGOA" in upper case black letters. Flag — quartered red over white.
