Description

Another “strange” flag is the one hoisted by the ship Adamastor that started the republican revolt at 4 Octuber 1910. The colours (used by the portuguese republican party) are reversed with the current national flag. The shield is a little different. Currently the flag is in the Navy Museum in Lisbon.
Jaume Ollé, 04 Oct 1996
