The flag was adopted 14, December, 1995 (Decision Nº 1160):

  • Ratio 1,5 : 2,5 units
  • Width of golden stripes — 0,05 units
  • Height of the shield — 0,96 units
  • Width of the shield — 0,75 units.
Modern coat of arms based on historical arms of Krasnoyarsk adopted in 1851: «Gules, a Lion holding a Spade and a Sickle, all Or».
