arms granted on 18 January 1884 based on two earlier coats of arms, revised grant
in 1972.
Official blazon in Swedish: "I rött fält en gyllene grip med drakvinge och draksvans samt med blå draktunga och beväpning, i vart av sköldens hörn åtföljd av en ros av silver."
Blazoned in English: "Gules a Griffin with Dragon Wings, Tail and Tongue rampant
