The Decision was amended in 2002 without changing anything on the municipal symbols.
The flag is vertically divided blue-yellow-blue, with the municipal coat of arms in the middle stripe.

The coat of arms of Duplek is:
Per bend sinister or a dragon with the body of a snake sable spitting fire gules and azure a raft bendwise or.
The dragon is part of the coat of arms of the rulers of Vurberk, presumably the old name of the municipality. The raft is of a kind that is used traditionally on the river Drava.
