Jarovce is a village south of Bratislava. According to this webpage the village is populated with Croatians living there since centuries. Croatian name: Hrvatski Jandrof, German: Kroatisch Jahrndorf, opposite Deutsch Jahrndorf in Austria.

Jarovce (Hungarian: Horvátjárfalu, German: Kroatisch Jahrndorf, Croatian: Hrvatski Jandrof) was a Croatian-German (80% - 17%) village in Rajka district of Moson (German: Wieselburg) county of Hungary till 1947. Jarndorf is one of the three settlements annexed by Czechoslovakia in 1947: Horvátjárfalu = Bratislava-Jarovce, Oroszvár = Bratislava-Rusovce and Dunacsúny = Bratislava-Čunovo. Parts of Moson county to Győr county in 1925. Horvátjárfalu was in  Győr-Moson-Pozsony county 1925-1945. 1945-1947 Jarovce was in Győr-Moson county of Hungary.
