Čadca is a town of c. 17.000 inhabitants in Stredoslovensky province,
close to the Czech and Polish borders.

Čadca's modern arms are: per pale Vert and gules, dexter on a tripple
mount a high pine tree between two foliate (leafy) trees Argent, sinister
St. Bartholomew Argent vested Or with a knife Argent.
