The older version of Nováky flag should have red field, not orange one (according to book Erby a vlajky miest v Slovenskej republike - P.Kartous, J. Novák, L Vrtelˇ, vydavateľstvo Obzor, Bratislava 1991 for Ministry of Internal Affairs of Slovak Republic).
