Description of the flag

Monticello recently adopted a new flag and it was reported in today's Monticello Herald Journal at www.thehj.com. The flag was designed by resident Joe Carter from 70 entries submitted. It will be hoisted on April 3, 2004 at the city's memorial to the victims of the April 3, 1974 tornado that devastated the town.
