Description of the flag

A diagonally divided flag with yellow (or beige?) in the upper hoist, and white in the lower fly. Occupying the center is a large town seal in brownlines, showing a shield with the word EQUALITY across it diagonally, and the town and state names and date of incorporation around the perimeter. Overwritten across the flag are the town name and date in large letters, partially obscuring the seal, and a green pine tree in the lower center. Chesterfield is in Hampshire County.
