Description of the flag

A sand colored flag, with the town seal at the center. The seal consists of a line drawing of a shield with a saltire, a scallop in the center, and four ingots in the quarters. Around it is a ribbon with PONKAPOAG 1650 CANTON 1797 STOUGHTON 1726. Above is a castle. A yellow rope and double green line surrounds the seal. Canton is in Norfolk County.

A colored version of the seal can be seen at the town home page: www.town.canton.ma.us/

Since the source photo shows only the middle of the flag and not its edges the relative size of the seal is unknown; I chose 2/3rds of the flag's height.
