Description of the flag

A vertically striped white and blue flag (at least 24 stripes), with the town seal placed on a white patch in the center showing a coat of arms: shield bearing an illustration of a town hall and sunrise, supported by a native and early settler, surmounted by a rampant lion. Around the coat of arms is a blue-bordered white ring with the city and state name and date on it in blue. Above the seal a yellow ribbon stating WE MUST WE CAN, AND WE WILL and below a second yellow ribbon stating BE FREE. Three stars lie on either side of the seal. Leominster is in Worcester County.
