A light blue and dark blue banner-type flag, bearing an illustration of a local scene with sun, hills, tree, church tower, river and waterwheel.  In each corner is a different device: a shield, a sheep, a hat and a hammer. The town name is written across the top, and state name across the bottom. Monson is in Hampden County.
