Description of the flag

A vertical blue flag with a 15-pointed scalloped figure showing a bandstand topped by the national flag.  On the top and bottom of the flag are ornamental details reminiscent of a bandstand, and the town name is written vertically down the hoist, and date across the bottom in dark colors. Townsend is in Middlesex County.
