white flag, with a simple logo showing a doorway (presumably the entry to a
covered bridge?) and two evergreen trees, and the city name written prominently
in the fly. Cottage Grove, the "Covered Bridge Capital of Oregon" is located in
the middle of western Oregon and in the southern part of Lane County. The
bridges are pictured and described at:
http://co.lane.or.us/Aboutbridges.htm. The town is near Eugene-Springfield
metropolitan area and has the population of @ 35,000.
