A red-white-blue horizontal tricolor, white band twice the width of the others. In center a gold diamond superimposed on a black rectangle.

On the site: www.howetx.org/CityInformation.htm it is said that this is the official city flag, designed in 1972 by Councilwoman Carrie Waller.
