Description of the Flag

The Malampa Province (former District of Ambryn, District of Malakula and District of Paama) flag is diagonally arranged, blue in the upper hoist, stripes of red-yellow-black-white-green, and yellow in the lower fly. Overall, centred, but displaced to the lower part of the flag, are a series of local emblems: two ferns and crossed spears on the perimeter, a chain of white stone beads, a white boars tusk, and a black crayfish.
